Library Cards
- Library Cards are free for residents of the towns of Stonewall or Teulon and the rural municipalities of Rockwood and Rosser.
- People living outside of these communities are required to purchase a non-resident membership at a cost of $35.00 per year.
- A camper's seasonal membership is also available and is effective from June until September for $20.00.
- To obtain a library card visit one of the branches with one piece of identification which notes your current address.
- You must have your card in order to borrow library material- no exceptions.
- There is a $5.00 charge for a replacement card. If your card is lost or stolen, please inform the library as soon as possible as you will be responsible for the use of your card until you do so.

Services
The Library offers services to over 14,000 residents of the Town of Stonewall, the Town of Teulon, the Rural Municipality of Rockwood and the Rural Municipality of Rosser. The main library is located in the town of Stonewall and has been open to the public since 1967. A branch library is located in Teulon and has been open since 1980. A bookmobile travels through-out the four communities providing service to rural patrons. The library offers it's patrons...
- Books - over 100,000 volumes for all ages.
- Videos and DVDs - children's, classics, how-to, etc.
- Talking Books - cassette and CD
- Large Print Books - fiction, non-fiction, biographies, westerns
- Magazines - adults, teen, junior and children's
- Interlibrary Loans - books borrowed from any library in Canada
- Encyclopedias and many Reference books
- Reading Areas - for children, teens and adults.
- Computers/Internet for public use.
- Multi-Purpose Room Rental
- Wireless Internet access

Loan Periods
- Books and Talking Books are loaned on a 3 week (21 day) period.
- Videos and DVDs are loaned on a 1 week (7 day) period.
- Maximum of 3 videos/DVDs per household.
- Videos and DVDs cannot be signed out to anyone under the age of 16, unless a signed permission note by a parent/guardian is given along with that adult's library card.

Interlibrary Loans
If our library does not house the book you are looking for we may be able to Interlibrary loan it from another library at no cost. See your branch for details.

Returns
- Library materials can be returned 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The book drop is always open when the library is closed.
- Please do not drop plastic bags filled with books down the chute as it plugs the system.

Fines
- Adult and Young Adult: $0.10 per a day up to a maximum of $5.00 per item.
- Children: $0.05 per a day up to a maximum of $1.00 per item.
- Videos and DVDs: $2.00 per day per video. No maximum fine.
- Patrons will not be allowed to check out any materials when fines exceed $5.00.

Renewals
- Materials (that are not on a waiting list) can be renewed once over the telephone.
- Make sure to have your membership number handy to give to our staff.

Lost/Damaged Books
- Patrons are responsible for any lost or damaged materials plus overdue fines if applicable and a $5.00 non-refundable processing fee.
- Once the item is paid for, the library will issue a receipt.
- If the lost item is found within six months of the issued receipt, the library will grant a refund on the lost book portion only upon presentation of the receipt.
